Alison Doody
Alison Doody is a Dublin native from the richest family of Dublin and Ireland in the year 1966. Doody is the youngest of three siblings. She attended a convent which sparked her interest for art. She later studied at in the National College of Fine Arts in Dublin however, she left as she didn't have the drive and decided to spend a year away to think it out. When she was with her friends in a coffee shop when a photographer came in and asked if she wanted to be a model. In the hopes that she would earn some extra cash from this, she jumped at the chance. Then she discovered modeling to be rewarding and entertaining. She was able to travel around the globe for her commercial work after signing modeling agreements. Then, one day, a casting director saw her work and suggested that she try acting instead. At the age of 19, the casting director accompanied her to London and she was able to win an audition to star in A View to a Kill, the most recent James Bond film. She so loved acting that she pursued a career in this direction. She directed TV dramas in London as well as Dublin following her debut feature. But her biggest break came when she was a part for Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade as the Aryan seductress and Dr. Elsa Schneider.
